Kings Worthy Pre-school is open during school term time between 8.30am and 3.15pm.  Lunch is between 12.00pm and 12.30pm and children who attend over this period are requested to bring in a healthy packed lunch.  A healthy snack is provided during the morning and afternoon sessions.

Our term times are in line with Hampshire County Council’s dates, published on their website, and we have 5 Inset days per academic year.


We offer free part-time early years education (EYE), under this government scheme the free early years education entitlement of 570 hours per eligible child is provided as 15 hours per week for 38 weeks per year. The entitlement starts the term after your child’s third birthday (or second birthday if the family are eligible). From September 2017, for eligible families of children aged 3 and 4 years old, entitlement will be for 30 hours per week for 38 weeks per year. For more information and to pre-register please see Childcare Choices, the government website which provides parents with information on all government funded childcare offers including Tax Free Childcare.

Kings Worthy Pre-school fees are currently £4.40 per hour for 3/4 year olds, £5 per hour for 2 year olds. If your child is entitled to EYE you will be required to pay for any additional hours. We are able to accept cash, cheque, bank transfers and childcare voucher payments.
